Where We Meet

Lumen Therapy Collective is a clinician-led group practice founded by Christopher Mooney, LCSW and Kenyon Phillips, LMSW, who also host the Lumen podcast. Our work integrates five evidence-based traditions: Mentalization-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Open Dialogue, Existential & Humanistic practice, and ACT, into a present-centered framework we call the Lumen Model. We support adolescents, young adults, families, and faculty navigating anxiety, depression, identity and transition, trauma, substance use, grief, and the particular pressures of high-performing academic environments.

We collaborate with school counselors, deans, advisors, and parents to provide continuity of care for students whose needs exceed school-based counseling, while staying within appropriate clinical and FERPA/HIPAA boundaries. We can meet with students on campus, coordinate with health services with signed releases, and provide consultation to faculty and parents.
